After the trial period, all piwigo.com plans are subject to a fee. However, you can download Piwigo for free from piwigo.org and install it on the server of your choice. To do this, you need to have an existing infrastructure, and the skills to manage Piwigo's installation, updates and backups, as well as its setup and customization.

All Piwigo users have access to our customer support by email.

From the Team plan: customers benefit from priority access to support.

From the Enterprise plan: custom branding of the Piwigo interface is included (see examples).

From the VIP plan: importing existing data from another software or storage space is included (learn more); customers also have access to phone support in addition to email support, and benefit from enhanced onboarding (one meeting per month during the first 6 months to help you make the most of Piwigo).

At Piwigo, we charge no setup fees for the implementation of your Piwigo hosting.

This allows us to offer transparent and affordable pricing - unlike some digital asset management or photo library software that charge both a software subscription and numerous custom setup or consulting services.

This is a deliberate choice: our job is to provide great software, not to sell consulting hours. We do not offer project management or consulting services. If you need help getting started with Piwigo, you can simply contact our support team.

However, we do work with partner photo librarians and iconographers who can assist you if you're looking for guidance and hands-on support to structure and configure your Piwigo. Contact us if this service interests you.

You can pay by PayPal, by credit card via Stripe, or bank transfer within the European Union.

Your account is not automatically blocked. We'll contact you to suggest switching to a higher plan or purchasing additional storage.

The price will be added to your annual subscription. Rates are as follows (billed annually):

• 50 GB : €5 excl. VAT / month

• 100 GB : €10 excl. VAT / month

• 250 GB : €25 excl. VAT / month

• 500 GB : €50 excl. VAT / month

• 1000 GB : €100 excl. VAT / month

No. The platform sends an email before the end of the subscription period, inviting you to renew. Renewals are always clearly stated.

No, you are limited to one Piwigo per subscription.

Administrators have access to the Piwigo administration, and thus to all the features: create / edit / delete files, albums, tags, users, access to statistics... Some super-administrators can change the look of your Piwigo and install or uninstall plugins. In Piwigo, administrators include "administrator" and "webmaster" user statuses.

Users can only login to your Piwigo gallery to view and download content that an administrator has given them access to. In Piwigo, users include "User" and "Generic" statuses.

Contributors are available only to customers with a Team, Enterprise or VIP plan. They are special users, who are allowed to import files to your Piwigo library from your web gallery. They do not have access to the administration. In Piwigo, this refers to non-administrator users who have the right to add files to the gallery using the Community plugin

By default, when you create your account, the URL of your Piwigo is [yourusername].piwigo.com. We also can associate Piwigo with your own domain name (for example, media.myteam.com). To do this, just contact support.

A plugin is an extension you can add to Piwigo with a single click. It adds new features or modifies existing ones. Some Premium plugins are only available starting from certain subscription plans.

At Piwigo, we are resolutely opposed to vendor lock in, vendor lock-in, the strategy used by some software editors to make their customers prisoners. Data portability is one of our core values. If you decide to stop using Piwigo, we'll give you back all your files and data, free of charge. We'll also help you if you decide to move your Piwigo to a self-hosted server. Sounds crazy?
